Can anyone tell me, out of the Titanium screws and turnbuckles, which offer the biggest weight saving over the kit standard steel equivalents? Since both Titanium items cost about the same amount, I'm looking for the biggest weight saving for the money.

Sorry if this confused you, but this way of calculation should work for you.
If you have any issues, feel free to contact me back.

If it helps the steel turnbuckles weigh 11 grams in total. I took all mine off last night and replaced them with TC6 titanium ones, which weighed 7 grams in total. Not that much of a saving really. I suppose everything helps a little bit

maybe not but to be able to put 4 grams on the bottom center of the chassis instead of up high does help. I'm sure if you switched to all titanium screws about above the chassis and leave the steel screws on the bottom I bet you could save some weight and effect the car that way.

Thanks for your help. I guess there is probably more weight to be saved by purchasing the Titanium screw set instead then.

I did the same thing..but there's a little binding between the axles pin and the outer bearing...Keith Yu pointed out to me that the I had a bad bearing ..If you move the front wheel just alittle and you will feel the bearing is binding ...the stock yokomo and Tamiya is about .010 differnce

Yes indeed!
Heres a link to the youtube video I uploaded. Stock setup, stock parts, great car. I can't really think of anything that needs to be improved on the car besides the motor and servo I'm using, which are both on the way.
Other then that, this car is amazing and suits my driving style quite well. It takes off like a rocket and drives like a beast

Hi, can someone help me find a starting point on which pinion gears to purchase. I want to buy around 3-6 pinions. This is my first onroad car. I am using a 64p (96t). Esc is a SXX TC V2. Motor is Orion VST 10.5 running on a medium asphalt track. Thanks in advance.

Bill K, I am running a BD7. Do they make 48p for the car. If I were to keep it at 64p, what pinion gears would you recommend.
