F103 front rim is completely different to HPI F10. HPI uses a hex hub while HPI uses two 8x5mm bearings in the rim which slot over the axle.

Not sure about the rear as they both use hex style. I only have an F103 and the hex hub for the rear is larger than a traditional touring car hub. Is the HPI the same size as a touring car?

Tamiya F201 rims fits for sure - I ran them on HPI.

I just picked up a brand new Kyosho 1/10 Ferrari F92A body set from my LHS. It had been sitting there for years priced at $85. As soon as the owner saw me pick it up he said take it for $20. SOLD!!

Now I have to see if it will fit my F109. Worst case, I'll just use the decal sheet with the stock F109 body.

Anybody have pics of this body on their car?

Better yet, find someone who can copy the sticker sheet to vinyl graphics decal sheets and save the original.

Don't know if the HPI tires will fit on the F201 rims (don't think they will) but the HPI rims will fit on the F201 and the F201 rims will fit the F10. Both cars use the same 12mm hex that is used on touring cars. You can even use standard touring car rims on both the HPI F10 and F201 if you wanted to (it will just look wierd).

You can read more about it here: (edit by Ruppster - had to remove the link from quote as I can't post links yet)
Frank, I saw that too and it didn't make sense to me either. The rcmart page for the Shimizu tires gives the part numbers for Tamiya rims for foam tires. But when I looked at the TRG rims (#TRG2105 for example) it said the TRG2105 rim was for the Shimizu tires. Yet the pictures of the TRG rims show a rim that is clearly meant for a rubber tire, not foam. Why the rcmart page is saying to use a Tamiya foam tire rim and not a rubber tire rim I don't know (unless the grove in the Tamiya rim for rubber tires is not wide enough for the Shimizu tire). I have a couple sets of TRG rims (front and rear) along with a couple sets of Shimizu tires on order from rcmart. The package just hit the US today and I hope to have the stuff Monday or Tuesday. As soon as I get them I will compare the TRG rims to Tamiya rims for rubber tires and post the results if anyone is interested.

As others have answered no the rims are not the same. The factory setup for the F10 uses a 12mm hex (the same as touring cars). But HPI does sell some hop up parts for the F10 that let you use the same tires as the F103.

For the front you will need:
#103023 ALUMINUM STEERING KNUCKLE SET (FOAM TIRE/ORANGE)

For the rear:
#102917 BALL DIFF SET FOR FOAM WHEELS (95 TOOTH/64 PITCH)

The new HPI F1 car uses the same diameter axle as the older HPI F1 car (which was nothing but a 1/4" pan car axle). The old HPI F1 even used pan car rims. I have one of those cars and need to set it up for rubber tires due to the rules at a local track. I plan on buying the stock parts for an F10 in order to allow me to use rubber tires on the old HPI chassis.

Does anyone know a website that sells F-1 bodies? I've been to D-Drive, RCMart, and ebay.

I just finished the body of my new F1 car. It is a Sauber C13 (with a C12 body) and home made decals and a magazin (watch) picture. I still have to do De Cesaris' helmet but I wanted to submit the pictures to Tamiyas' F1 contest before it is too late.
Proberbly they will throw out my entry since I used my own decals.
