Who from AE has said there were any...
changes? I have not read it or talked to anyone from AE that said anything was fixed other than the plastic toe blocks. No stronger/better fitting arms, and no steering rack fixes. Don't you think they would be telling everyone about it if they did make some fixes? Mere rummors.

is X-ray coming out with a new TC? I read somewhere about testing at the Worlds.

What tires are those? They look like the new TRC wheels, but I've only seen them in black so far?

That is very interesting about setups. Mine TC4 is So close to my TC3 setup its not funny. Only thing that is different is the shock oils and pistons. Other then that same shock locations and springs. High roll centers. I have no clue how you guys get your cars to turn with the setups that I have seen on Ozite. Must be the traction differernce. Running on a small track with Little or no traction. with the amount of 180 degree corners on our track. Car has to be super responsive. I got a few really strange things done to my car. It seems to work, or at least on our track.
Ray-H. Billy S. has probably told you how little traction we have here in KC. I believe that Billy has use the phrase "Ice Rink" before. LOL. Kind of funny. Oh well, its all we got.

2fast4u2-I think my original set-up might have been good on your style track-only change from my 6' circle to a 4' circle and youd have crazy steering everywhere. I had to use a 6' circle to be able to drive all the fast corners (7' circle might have been even easier), but with a circle that big-you cannot drive the slow stuff very fast.
As for the Xray-new bulkheads that lower the top deck and spur gear and adjustable pills to raise and lower the axles-thats it so far. But I dont have the inside scoop on Xray-so I dont know anything else.

Not really sure, but i bet it will turn inside 4' easy. Hec our lanes are only like 6-8 feet at best. and you can turn around in those easy. LOL I bet its closer to 3' circle. I will check next time I am out. Just to see.

Thx for the replies guys. Does all the hardware from the plastic outdrives fit directly into the IRS ali ones?? (unlike the associated steel ones i thk).
Must admit, can't wait to drive this thing, missed the last meet due to bloody exams
Cheers

Crash....to have IRS lite diffs you need to go get a rebuild kit for a steel diff and D rings from the plastic diffs 2 seperate part numbers.........hope that helps,

My Xray diffs came complete with Carbide diff balls, carbide thrust bearing assembly, precision ground diff rings...all in the original package....sure Xray parts are expensive...but not so much when you look at al of the other crap i had to get to build something that was roughly equivalent...
Oh yeah..forgot one of the most important steps in my diff-build....I also used a dremel to remove some thickness from the interior portion of my diff gear.....

Possibly someone who has run both can confirm
