I thought that it was obvious but my post was 100% sarcasm. I am more than happy with all of my DE products.

I think the Gen2 bump skids should be long enough to put all four screws from underneath. The reason I say this is that the current bumpskid tends to bend away from the chassis. Just a thought. Otherwise, I dig these skid plates.

No problem. I was actually going to put some emoticon's but I never use them and I didn't know which one was appropriate...how about this one

Bump skid-Kickass Rear skid-Sux!
Just my experience the front bump skid is great, one of the first things I buy for any chassis. I used them on a D8,MBX6 and XB808 with great success. The rear skid is a different story. Any snag -rock-pipe stake-nail-edge of wood ramp-ect will pull it off or bend it down. I have even had rocks and dirt get packed under it. Sometimes I replace 1 or 2 during a race. I am done with the rear skid and have now ordered a aluminium skid. But will keep on using the bump skid I love it. Just being honest not trying to bust on the product.

3rd gen rear plate
I had one rip off and cause my rear bulkhead to flop around during the 20 min main. Very annoying. I liked the 2nd gen plate, but the 3rd is crap....I will save them for clay tracks. Please re make the plates or send me some 2nd gen plates. Unhappy customer.

Yep, I am having more issues with the new one as well. They will pull off before they wear out, the old ones would wear until they were down to the chassis. I had a new one pull off during a race with plenty of thickness left.

It is very strange that you guys are having such issues with the Gen 2 parts. I still have plenty of the Gen 1 line. Contact me through www.deracing.net and I will see what I can do for you. I will also look into some of these issues, but I feel more people are happy with them than not.

Hey quick question, will the bump skid for the D8 also fit the D8T??

Any one have feedback on the new 'xtreme Duty' skids.
Just Got my first 'new to me' truggy (mbx6t) and wanted to protect it. UPS truck bringing today all my goodies which includes front bumpskid and a set of XD skid plates. I didn't realize some were having issues with the rear skids so is the new XD an improvement on this problem?
Thanks
