Does anybody else have problems with the lightweight 2spd getting stuck on 2nd gear? I was at the track last weakend and had that problem. I ended up grinding the shoes so they would close a little more. Although Im still not sure if its shifting.

I had some problems with my 2 speed getting stuck in top gear but found that the grub screws weren't set right. I found the instructions weren't very helpful for the 2 speed so just found my own settings through trial and error.

Harry I've got a 2005 r40 but at the moment it's stock apart from the clutch and springs

Set the 2 speed shoes so there is just a slight crack. Then make sure the adjustment screws are almost able to be touched. Just slightly in.

I did that and always got a good shift.

Yes you are right. The Asian version is called the "Hara". The US verison is called "2005". They are both the same. There was also a 04 "Hara" version available only overseas. There was a lot of confusion here when the 05/Hara kit was released. Seems like everybody just calls it the "Hara" editon now.
