Does anybody else have problems with the lightweight 2spd getting stuck on 2nd gear? I was at the track last weakend and had that problem. I ended up grinding the shoes so they would close a little more. Although Im still not sure if its shifting.

hara car
the 2 speed had the wrong screw in the kit. 2.6mmx12 -silver screw ok the black screw had a phillips head and the top was to big . tower is out of the screw. why would hpi put the car out with out extra screw ,if this screw is soo hard to find.

I had some problems with my 2 speed getting stuck in top gear but found that the grub screws weren't set right. I found the instructions weren't very helpful for the 2 speed so just found my own settings through trial and error.
Harry I've got a 2005 r40 but at the moment it's stock apart from the clutch and springs

Well it's sold as the 2005 edition, but yes looking on the HPI site it looks to have all the same upgrades
Yes you are right. The Asian version is called the "Hara". The US verison is called "2005". They are both the same. There was also a 04 "Hara" version available only overseas. There was a lot of confusion here when the 05/Hara kit was released. Seems like everybody just calls it the "Hara" editon now.
