Default Let the conspiracy theories begin!

Hmmmm....

So anyone else starting to wonder what the 3 countersunk holes and 1 indexing hole on each side of the chassis are for? They are darn near dead center between the axles (well technically biased towards the front slightly) and close in to the battery. Weights perhaps to balance out LiPo? Dremel cutting blades? A winged top deck for extra stiffness? Link multiple Type Rrrrrrrs together to form MEGA R? My curiosity is piqued for sure.

Carry on...

That is what I figured as well, but how incredibly boring... I will stick with telling people they are to form Mega R. And POOKYT will form the head....

What size fan are the mounts machined for? I could guess 25mmx25mm, but wanted to know for sure. I don't have my kit yet and was wanting to get some nik-nacs on the way.

I do believe them to be for 25x25mm fans which is great as this is the size fans I use for my Cool Can Fans and will be making something real cool for the R

FANS---

Machined holes in motor mount bulkhead are for 20mm fans.

CHASSIS-

Extra machined holes in the chassis are indeed for ballast weight. There are also small indexing holes on the front/rear centerpoint and left/right centerpoint for balancing and setting tweak.
