Hey Mike, quick question for you, since you have drove the new Type R would you say the car is smoother, faster and more consistent than the standard JRXS? Seems like with the JRXS I can get it fast, but just not consistent and it does not feel as smooth as my RDX was.

Dunno if you meant Dumas or me....but anyways this is my take on it. The car is more planted even when you put more steering in, plus carries more cornerspeed...this allows you to get the same laptime while being less edgy...in the end you could drive it more edgy (but by no means inconsistent) and it will turn signifigantly faster laps then the mid motor car.

It took me 2 packs with the new car to go faster then i did with my old one and be more consistent on a track layout i knew very well....i can't really think of any way it is worse then the mid motor

I've heard it suggested that original car suffered from understeer because it didn't transfer enough weight to the outside during hard cornering. Any truth to that? If so, how does the new car aim to fix those problems?

Hi, can someone who already has access to this car please measure the amount of space there is to mount an esc, I am about to buy a GTB, but am concerned about the amount of space available...

any other recommendations on a Brushed/BL esc, that is maybe a bit smaller?

the space from the front standoff to the side of the chassis is almost exactly the same width as a PT with no ears. If that helps. The space otherwise (where the standoff is not) is greater. Let it hang off a little. No biggie.
