STLNLST- cherry only runs offroad, my advice is to just ignore him.

adrian- both me and drew ellis thought that our cars were better when we had to run 2nd run tires in the 3rd a-main.

BULL....! AT STOCKTON, ON THE CARPET, BEFORE THEY SWITCHED THE CLASSES TO FOAM TIRES I RAN ONLY ONE SET FOR AN ENTIRE SEASON. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE TO CLEAN THEM PROPERLY TO REMOVE THE BUILDUP FROM THE TIRES. btw the tires were sorex 28r in front and sorex 24r in the rear.

Point well taken. It's times like this that I wish I had the money to fly to his home track and lay it down with rerun tire's.

Here in Memphis with the MSRA, we run in parking lots with track temps around 140. I have tried back and forth the CS and RP's so I can say for our track the RP's 1st run is as good as the 3rd. With the CS tires, the first run is the best and its all slower there after. When our track temps come up to the 140 range, my 2,3,4 and even 5th run RP's are very fast and still consistant. The dreaded CS inner wear ring that always appears after 2 runs does not happen to the RP's!! This past Sunday I was running a set of 4 run RP 30's and as the track got hotter they were still running great. I ran them for the first qualifyer and in the second. After the second round one of my buddys pointed out to me that my right rear tires had a spot about 3mm round with the belt showing! LOL I ended up runnina 2 run set of CS-27's for the main and the lap times were the same.

In short, sign me up for some more RP's!!!!!!!

I can vouch for the same thing as PookyT states. At the track we have been running at lately 2nd and 3rd run RP's are better than new tires.

Also at the Nationals Rick Hohwart TQ'd the last round of qualifying on used RP's where a lot of us were running new tires.

That's why in RC we need to start testing for Roids and hGH. New at the line for tech, blood test.
