Looks great! I started on-road with a TA02FF (FF01) Jaccs Accord years ago and ran locally at Burien Toyota and made the trip to TCS nationals with them several times. I've been thinking about getting back into it this fall/winter and this might just be enough to push me over the edge! Just need to figure out where these are going to be run locally. Troy? Dan?
I painted the Accord body white and tinted the windows (and did a few tricks to reinforce the front end) but never started the decals or ran that body. I'm going need to do a couple bodies to get back into practice before tackling that! I do have one of the Golf/GTI bodies ready to go. If I remember right that one used the shorter wheelbase configuration. I should have 2+ cars worth of parts to go with the bodies. I was already planning to do a restoration build...

I've seen & touch the real FF03 Pro version at my local Tamiya distributor shop/office yesterday. It is the only sample & display for them from Tamiya Japan.
Overall, even it is Pro kit, i feel the car very plastic feeling with a little in-expensive blue bling like the turnbuckles, motor plate & shocks.
To bring out the shine of FF03, you'll need the blue alu rocker arm, blue screws, df-03 heatsink bar, blue alu suspension blocks etc, then you'll have a very nice package of FF03-Pro, real PRO! Of course, you'll need to pay a price tag for the bling!!

'Pro' designation never meant top of the line. Ta03f pro, ta04 pro, etc only came with mid grade options(frp plates and plastic shocks). Flagship cars usually came with TRF designation. Even then, you still needed hopups...

Hop up is the the money making word for manufacturers. For hobbyist like us it is a terminal addiction to spend money!!!
Einix, post some pictures please.

An interesting thing is the front suspension mount are both 1XD, with short reversible arm, and 4mm plastic hex.
And we can choose S/M/L wheel base just like the M03, M05

But the front being 1XD... I guess it is to fit the old bodies that was designed for the FF01. Going to have to use wider mounts and longer turnbuckles/drive shaft for a standard 190mm body.

When the rules for a 190mm came out it was all DTM bodies wich are widened Mercs Alfa's, ect. Then everybody started to use morphed 2 litre wide body's wich in reallity are 170 to 175cm wide.
I hope rules will keep it this narrow for scale looks.
However you are free to do whatever you like just for racing I believe it should be kept narrow!
