Call Crc for a replacement. It is a known issue. They have new ones in stock that will not come loose.

Any good fixes out there?

Thanks!

Mulsanne, or Sophia would be my choices for 200mm.

I run a 935B Medium downforce body (235mm) , with extensions on the wing to give it more downforce in the rear, and better stability down the straight.

But if your problem is right as you exit a corner, or from a start, then aerodynamics havnt come into play yet. If your at speed when the problem happens, then it could be aero related.

What I did with Dave Irrgang at IRS was pretty convoluted because they didn't have the complete Gen-X 10 axle assembly available in their on-line ordering catalog at the time.

Dave had me order any complete axle assembly for $61.95 and then describe in the Special Instructions what I actually wanted as described below.

Ordered
"Item Ref. Price ea. Qty. Description
__________________________________________________ _________
irs2133 $61.95 1 1/10th Assoc. Style Axle Kit for Non-Offset Pod

Special Instructions:
Dave, Per our telephone telephone conversation
today, please switch the axle kit I ordered above
for the IRS2138 axle kit to fit my CRC Gen-X 10.
Many thanks. Bill"

It worked; so, what can I say. Otherwise, I recommend that you talk to Dave at IRS. Hopefully, the Gen-X 10 axle assembly in now shown in their offerings.

the p905b works great for me on a large track but since I have been going to this smaller indoor track I had to go back to 200mm set as the turns are much sharper and the 235mm setup does not work for me. Now that I have the Mulsanne which ran well tonight next on my list is the Sophia. But I must say I have a lot more fun with 235 pro 10 style large track. Oh and I went from 3.5r to 10.5 for the small track so really feels different and getting use to it as well.

Well done a few things

1) re-aligned the centre football - Thats seems to have stopped the pull.

2) The Calandra spring (not sure what lb it is if anyone knows) slacken it off a lot and seems to now get the power down better. Could do with a longer spring and softer to give a better range of movement now

3) Purple springs on steering , lost a bit of steering so now looking to either changing shell (bmw one) to a proper on 1st. Then consider droping to the green springs (1 down)

4) re-balanced car and move weights around.

Thats pretty much it.

I'll fill in a setup sheet might be an idea for us all to post them help each other out and bounce ideas across.

If you are talking about the rate on the Losi JRX-S center spring on the Gen X 10, the one I got had a sticker on it with 25 rate but someone on here mention theirs came with a 30 rate spring.

This is the one that came with my kit.

I race the Losi sedan and happen to know the wire thickness of the 10mm springs. Just get out some calipers..
12.5lb= .047 inches
15lb = .052 inches
17.5 = .054 inches
20 lb = .056 inches
25 lb = .060 inches

There's more, but I don't happen to know them, since I don't use them on my sedan.
