Aluminum Clutch

Aluminum Clutch
Whats a good 3 shoe aluminum clutch that will fit an ofna flywheel? I just took my jammin 3 shoe carbon clutch apart and noticed that is very worn. I was told to go with aluminum clutch shoes because they last much longer but I don't know which ones to get.

A word of caution here: Aluminum shoes engage harder, with less slip. You're going to find acceleration to be more abrupt. Also... I'm not so sure aluminum shoes last that much longer, especially when you factor in that the cost is twice to 3 times as much... you'll probably spend more on aluminum shoes in the long run. As for what shoes to run on an OFNA clutch... run OFNA shoes.

If your looking for new shoes in aluminum they try our new Jammin red alum. shoes the have a long wear and drilled to be lightened they come with 0.9mm and 1.1mm springs I have set on my truggy and look to have some good wear I run mine with all 1.1mm springs.

Will these get me by for just this weekend? (One day of practice and one day of racing)? I have these ones in my toolbox as spares. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/13570

They have good grip with little slip, use 0.9mm springs beacause they are soft, but I would be limited on practice runs. Good for quals and 15minute runs on a buggy but will be less on truggy you may have to take a look after a couple of runs of the wear factor.
