While the price is a little high compared to an Associated, it's not too high. Interesting to me is that the UK Pound (currency) is at an historic low in exchange with dollars, as is the Euro. You'd think they would play the currency game a little and take advantage of the lower price they could offer to gain market share. With the whole Brexit thing, I think the UKP will stay low into the foreseeable future.

With the price on Shumachers website, 349GBP now equates to $429. Stormer have them at $379.95 and Discount RC at 'anticipated price' of $399. Either way, it's actually cheaper than in the UK!

The currency game happens earlier in the cost structure. For sure it's a little cheaper, and there are import taxes and distribution costs associated with bringing it over. I don't know much about importing from the UK, just "thinking out loud" here. Seems like an opportunity for the European brands.

The kr did have a little problem with the upper gear box being a little brittle but then you still had to crash just right for it to be an issue.

That broke on mine on the second battery I ran with the car. I replaced it and it never broke again, dispite some pretty serious crashes. I suspect it was a bad batch on the initial run of kits

They were updated shortly after release with additional ribs. I never broke one myself but seen a few early ones break. New ones never broke

I can't tell 100% for sure, but from the few pics I have seen I don't think they aren't running either of the new cars yet.

Super soft Blockades are what a lot of folks are running. As well as super soft barcodes. I tried the positrons last week and they worked really well.

Ribs are popular on the front.

They are running both at reedy. They've been testing all week at various tracks in California.

Thanks Tony. Looks like KC + forwards shocks and I'm assuming motor position 4.

Hard to believe a year ago everyone was running 3-gear stand up layouts.
