What gears are you using

I haven't seen anything that small from Kyosho. I may be missing it...

You can run Losi spurs and pads, or Avids.

I'm just running the kimbrough spurs with ae pads. But I have recently picked up a set of gariodisks and I have 2 days on them so far. No glazing and consistent throughout the pack. More testing required tho.

spur / pinion * internal = FDR

78 / 23 * 2.6 = 8.817

This is a replacement Kyosho Slipper Spring Set, and is intended for use with the Kyosho Ultima RB5 SP2 WC and SC-R SP 1/10 scale vehicles. This slipper spring set allows finer slipper adjustments for more traction and consistent slipper operation. This set up is the shit . I tried the avid with the avid top shaft and it only lasted one pack it was loud that's might be just my experience.
Guys any reason not to go the full WC hog? Red pads, WC discs and all?

Apex2? What rotor and stator combo did you order? With a torque stator and 12.5HT rotor, you will gear WAY up from an apex1. I haven't run it in my buggy yet, but I have in my touring car, and how far I had to gear up was ASTONISHING... I still can't believe it.

With the apex1, you would gear your TC for a medium sized average track at 3.75 to 3.85, give or take. With the apex2 (torque/torque), same endbell timing, we are gearing between 3.5 and 3.4!!! Taller than 21.5 guys.

For the buggy, I will probably run 60 timing, 66spur, and 32-33 pinion to start. (in not exactly sure yet)

All of this changes of course if you are running the RPM stator, and/or a different rotor.

If I get time in the next few days I'll scan in the eccentrics chart they provide with the hangers.

Good luck with the new RB6.
Would also like to know what each inset equates out to. If it's like the zx5 ones, I think I'll pick them up for sure. Was wondering if they'd make them for the rb6

Just looked up the zx5 ones on petitrc and I think I got a handle on it, but still not 100% sure
