I just got my cases fixed so a 7955 is going back in and the 5645 is going in my strike. Do it right and buy once:

the 5645 doesnt seem to slow to u ,i just like the cordless motor servo cause it turns on a dime lol
#19
sorry i meant the 5645 seems slow to me
#20
maybe its just my setup maybe putting a thinner sway bar in the front would make it seem like its faster lol
#22
i was wordering if a thinner sway bar in the front whoud make it seem faster than it really is since it would give more steering and more aggresve i run a losi eight 1.0
#23
if that seems to make sense
#25
i feel that it does have enough steering but i want it a little more aggresive just a little bit,i have the stock sway bar that the 1.0 eight manuel says to use the 2 thickest one for the front the black one

Dude your going to spend $100 bucks, to be happy.....
Break down and get the ACE servos or save a few extra bucks and get some good Hitecs.

I've run cheap servos before.
But the most cost effective servo is the Hitec 7955.
So you can get one 7955, or 4 of nearly every servo thats cheaper.

I've been running the 7985 hitecs for throttle and the older 997tg for steering for 2 seasons with no failures. If you can't afford the 955tg or the new 7950hv. I would have no problem putting in the 7985 for a steering servo. Plus Hitec has the best warranty in the busines imo. I've seen lots of the 1015's go bad.

The ACE 1313 is probobly going to be the best bet. I used it once on my buggy for steering and really didn't really feel a difference between that and my 1015. In my truggy I am sure I would have but a buggy that servo does just fine. But any servo sub par to the 1313 is not gona be any improvement to what you already have.

X2 .10-.20 is somewhat noticeable but there's one thing i say about cheap servo's, they yield cheap result's....if the servo let's go and pop's your Brand new motor or it take's off and smash's the front end to pieces....dont say we didn't tell you so....this hobby isn't exactly cheap..and you'll end up spending the 100$ either way buying 2-3 inferior servo's to coughing up the $$ and doin it right the first time.
you can pick up a hitec 7955tg for 100 bucks and NEVER have to worry about it again. I have 5X 7955tg and it's teh best investment i've made for RC. FAST, strong and indestructable. it turns even my 40 series monster truck tires like it's nothing.
