The back stretch here at home is 180,190 feet, but I will probably be racing at 301 most of the time.

What's the difference between the Nova 35 plus 21 and the 359? I've been looking at the Murnan motors and don't know whether to buy the mod or the regular

If you want to have it tuned is your choice but for an avarage driver it is not needed.

The 35+ has more bottom torque and the 359 is made to reach more rpm. The 35+ has also an 5mm crankpin which has less issues than the smaller pin on the 359. My opinion is that the 35+ is a better choice.

Both are great cars but I think that the 200mm car will be easier for a new comer to the hobby to master simply because they are not as quick as the 1/8 car. With the 1/8 car things happen so quickly that there is not time to think about what you need to do next. Don't get me wrong - the 200mm car is very fast also but it does not require the precise throttle control of a 1/8 car.
I say start with 200mm which is slightly less money too.

Listen to this guy, he knows from what he speaks. Lee's online store, Winners Circle, is also a very good source for parts and Lee is always willing to share his ideas with you. I agree with the 1/10th to start then move to 1/8th later. I did it that way and benefited from Lee's help in the past.
