Just finished building this awesome kit but I worry if I could use other spur gears than the ones from Panaracer. Kimbrough seems to be to wide to fit inbetween the pulleys...
Apart from this issue the assembly of this car went pretty well. When I came across the assembly of the stabilizers, one of the stabilizer ball cups split in four parts during screwing in the M3x3 screw. Anyone came across this too?

Also are you able to upgrade from the 6 to the 7 or is it not cost effective.

to upgrade totally the d06 you have to mantain only the diff bulkhead, ammo and screws
I have considered to upgrade only substansial parts so: main chassis, upperdeck and motor mount (including pulley), well only for these you need approx (here in europe but in hong kong it don't change) 80+20+50+40= 190euro approx
the plastic change only the material that is stiffer and the upper hole in the rear hub, the suspended steering(plus 40 euro), damper mount that, I think, have got only different shape e thickness
For me it isn't worth my money, I think it's better to sell the d06 and buy the d07.

The Chassis plate, top deck, center layshaft/pulley system, motor mount, and floating steering rack are all costly parts. I don't really see it as cost effective, but you can do it.
As far as I know, there weren't any plans to release a conversion set.

There are a lot of new $$$ chassis parts that would need to be converted, let alone the new suspension materials.

-All suspension plastics are a more rigid material
-New geometry rear hub carriers
-New chassis plate
-New topdeck
-New 3 screw suspension mounts
-New steering rack with revised geometry
-New Upper bulkheads with slightly different camber link locations.
-New center layshaft design
-New swaybar mounting design, with shorter swaybars to accommodate the new mounts.
That's the list that I can think of. Ryan might be able to chime in on other differences if I missed any.

Will the arms for the d07 fit on the d06?
