They run the front arms just below level while on the car stand. They said most of the set up sheets run even less then they are. Just wondering if this is some kind of trend with the new car and what the reasoning was behind it. I also know a team guy but I have not got to talk to him about yet. But I did notice his car drives very flat and runs very little droop also. Just wondering.....because I am thinking about trying one. I know my old K cars were good jumpers but we ran a good amount of droop. Never did get the old cars rear ends to roll much though. Any of you guys switch from a 22 to a rb6? You might know what im talking about....

I agree! The whole reason I switched from the 22to the rb6 was how it handled the jumps. It's also nice to have as the track starts to go away and become bumpy.

I use the Avid 4x1.3 and they fit quite well. Around 0.1mm thinner than stock Ks measured with digital calipers. Cheers,

We don't. I'm not sure what setup sheet they are following, but they are either a) erroneously running the short eyelets, or b) are misreading the setup sheet... (or C), they are looking at a very bad setup sheet).

yeah I advise them to put on one of two setups and tune off of it. Even if they think they are fast. Either Jared Tebo's 2013 Midwest Winter Champs (CRCRC) setup or the 2012 Japanese Std Setup.

I just switched back to 10th scale now full time after the summer off for 8th scale and I'm a bit rusty. I'll be hammering it pretty hard now and once I feel that I get my throttle finger somewhat used to 2wd mod again, I'll start working more on the setups.

If nothing else, my stuff will give you guys a different perspective because the tracks we run on here in Jersey are low bite, sandy/dusty, and can get torn up quick by 8th scales and 4wd SCT's.

Hello- could one of you kind rb6 owners who runs stock (no added wt to buggy other the esc, battery etc) please weigh your buggy?!

I'm curious to know the weight as I might want to switch over from my b4.2. My buggy weighs 1524 grams. Don't know any rb6 owners locally to see what they weigh.

Thanks in advance for any kind person who helps!

I'm at 1542, which I think is light for a RB6, so plus 20 to 30 grams would probably be an average with shorty pack

Mine is at 1548 with the Kyosho alloy steering rack and arms, Futaba 9551, Fantom shorty, airtronics 2.4 rx and Ion4. This is with tires w/ open cell foams, closed cell will weigh a tick more.

Dayton

Edit: It also has the alloy rear hubs, avid top shaft and slipper.

my car has every Kyosho gunmetal part on it and weighs 1580 with a shorty pack. This is with the stock slipper setup. I am putting the Avid on this week. I'll weigh it after.

and yes, I know it's not 1500 but I like the aluminum. In a perfect world, I would have this car for mod and a light weight car for 17.5....

1520g RTR

Savox 1251
Hobbywing Xerun 60A
MurphDog 17.5
14ga wire
Turnigy NanoTech 4200mah 65C Shorty
FrSky receiver
RC4 Transponder

Avid slipper
Exotec front bulk head
Exotec rear bulk head
Kyo ackermann plate
Kyo rear hubs

So mine could be lighter still but wouldnt be as durable I don't think.

I wouldnt mind a Carbon/Kevlar chassis though, I may make one one day, not for weight though, just bling and they dont bend like aluminium.
