Sounds like you have the t nut in the wrong outdrive. It should go in outdrive that has the bearing support for the diff gear.

I just built my new kit a few weeks ago and had no trouble at all was one of the smoothest builds I have ever done. I don't have the alum. trans case but still it should be built to closer tolerances that than the injected molded plastic ones.

I will check it again today I have only had time to build it this week really late at night midnight or later so today with fresh eyes I will take the 3 gear back apart and see where I might be going wrong. I have a Kyosho RT6 the diff went together no problem, my Rc10T4 same thing and my B4 all went together without a hitch.

im looking at one of cav's setups and it says the battery is taped in and from the pictures i see, he is not using the battery strap. has anyone else played with this setup, and what were the results of the chassis flex?

What is needed to put clamping hexes front & rear? (*maintaining stock width)

You need the front axles and the 8.5mm hexes front and rear.

I thought the 7mm hexes were for the T5m and the 8.5mm hexes for the SC5m. Placing an order tomorrow for both, but maybe I have the sizing wrong. It's just not labeled clearly in any AE documentation that I can find.

I did that one time, thrust bolt in the wrong side, flip flop and it was all good.

My T5 feels a litte rolly polly, lazy, I guess that would be soft. What is the best way to make it feel better, thicker shock oil or springs?

Finally got mine on the track and the truck felt great. Only issue I see is when turning left I see some wheel chatter. Any one else experience this?

was so excited building T5M then get to tranny it is missing slipper and spur gears . Anyone else missing parts?
