Murfdogg Products had a fantastic showing at the recent Toys for Tots Onraod race in El Paso, TX. Murfdogg Products assisted drivers to secure 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th qualifying positions for the A-Main in the TC 10.5T class and resulted in the A-Main win. Performance and reliablility was unmatched! Thanks for such great products Matt!

Default Murfdogg Octane Booster

If you are looking for a little more performance edge over the competition, the new Murfdogg Octane Booster power control module is perfect! Had the chance to use the new Octane Booster during an Onroad practice session yesterday. The Octane Booster with leads is much easier to instal and offers racers many options for mounting locations. Most importantly the Octane Booster provided a significantly noticable increase in punch over the stock capacitor and provided cooler operating temps on the ESC/Motor.
Truly appreciate the added power and performance enhancement!

Did you get your hands on a 'production' model? How big is it?

Tom,
They just arrived. Demensions are: 31.4mm long x 10.6mm wide x 13.7mm tall, with +/- leads being approximately 95mm in length allowing you to mount in numerous locations within your car/chassis. The Murfdogg Octane Booster adds a noticable amount of punch over stock setup. Several racers observing practice yesterday, at a larger scheduled event (running against same electronics/motor setup cars, minus the Octane Booster) noticed I could easily pull about 2-3 car lengths out of corners on competitors with added punch! It is working superbly with fantastic on track results!

Default Reminder

Just a reminder that Murfdogg will be closed until January 16th as Matt has headed to Tulsa for the annual Chili Bowl Dirt Oval race. Murfdogg team drivers can very knowledgeably answer questions if you need assistance.

Matt,
The Octane Booster will provide benifits in your application. Any ESC with a power capacitor provides some return power. The Octane Booster will give noticably better burst over stock capacitors. Hopefully another driver or user can chime in to provide you information on 17.5T Blinky carpet oval question.

Remove the stock capacitor and wire the +/- Octane Booster leads to same, but appropriate (+/-) posts.

Will the octane booster help an orion r10. The stock orion capacitors look more substantial than the tekin

The Orion uses a double cap set up vs. Tekin only one. You might not notice the gains as much as a Tekin owner would.
