Hey guys, here's my current carpet rubber setup I've been running. This is as it is after my last day of testing I've had. If anyone wants to give it a shot and let me know what they think that would be cool. A couple people have tried it and liked it so far.
Front end:
RIDE HEIGHT: 5mm
ANTI-ROLL BAR: silver
CASTOR: 4º
KICK UP: none
ANTI DIVE: none
TOE: 0º
ROLL CENTER: riser plate only
CAMBER: -1.5º
WHEELBASE: med/long
BELLCRANK: center hole + 3mm shims under ballstud
STEERING KNUCKLE: front hole
LOWER SHOCK LOCATION: outer hole
UPPER SHOCK LOCATION: inner hole
CENTER TRACK ROD LENGTH: stock
INNER CAMBER LINK LOCATION: upper hole
NOTES: no riser plate under bulkheads, standard arm mounts (no arm sweep). No wheel spacer on outside of hex. Hybrid o-rings in shocks.
Front shocks:
OIL: 30 wt.
SPRING: white
PISTON: 3 hole
LENGTH: 61mm
DROOP: 2mm uptravel
Rear end:
RIDE HEIGHT: 5mm
ANTI/PRO SQUAT: none
ANTI ROLL BAR: black
TOE IN: 2º
ROLL CENTER: riser plate + 1mm
CAMBER: -1.5mm
WHEELBASE: med/short
REAR HUB LOCATION: center
OUTER CAMBER LINK LOCATION: inner hole
OUTER CAMBER LINK SHIMS: none
INNER CAMBER LINK LOCATION: upper hole (asphalt tower)
LOWER SHOCK LOCATION: 2nd hole in from outside

DROOP: 3mm uptravel
Other:
BODY: Mazda 6
CHASSIS: stock 2mm
TOPDECK: stock 2mm
FRONT DIFF: oneway
ESC: GTB
CELLS: EA IB3800
MOTOR: Novak 5.5 BL
TIRES: RP30GL
NOTES: Works very well for stock and 19t as well, I just got the car stable enough for mod by removing the arm sweep out of the front with the long (#U1989) blocks. This week I will try putting them back on with a 19t motor and see if theyre still faster for 19t or stock. For mod the arm sweep made the car have too much mid and entry steering which made the rear end unstable entering the corner, and then on throttle it had a push from it. Removing the arm sweep smoothed it out, but I think it may still be faster. If the track is really open then I would probably still be running it in mod, but my carpet track is small. If you want the car even more stable for some reason the Stratus MKIII and Parma Type M make it much more stable with less rotation but more entry steering.

Weylin thanks for the setup. I'll try and save it to a PDF format
Kerr...if you can do a write and setup sheet that would be awesome.

Anyone else do any Vegas IIC warmup races?
We had our "Double down weekend" at Scotty's Trackside.
I'm going to post one big page of "Vegas Warmup" races on Pitspace so we can see results and setup sheets. It will be nice to have a few listed to people can compare what they've been running before the IIC.

Differences Between MI2 and MI2 EC
Hi I'm new to this thread, does anyone know approximately what page number back is there a comparison between the MI2 and MI2EC.
I've heard the MI2EC is a completely different car, but I'm looking for a second car for 19T Rubber Carpet for this winter and didn't want to spend very much. I've seen some new old stock Mi2s going for pretty cheap locally.
Is the car pretty competitive box stock, and suggestions on parts I'll need incase I break down and pick one up?
Any help is appreciated!

Yeah now he has a real reason for wearing a dress, usually he has to make up some lame excuse for why he's wearing a dress whenever someone catches him .

Mr. Phalen took this really nice shot of my car this weekend. Thanks T.
I can't believe he actually caught a picture of your car at speed, it was so fast. He must be getting to be a better photagrapher.

Even though we're in Vegas....should you loose this bet....Would I get in trouble for putting a dress on a minor????

Tony's getting really good. We'll see how good his skills are at indoor photography in Vegas

Eventually the lexan will start to cone where the screw heads push through it and it will push the lexan away from the chassis causing it to drag but this is after quite a few meetings. It can be a pain removing the lexan sheet if you're in a rush but it is worthwhile esp as at the end of the outdoor season your chassis still looks mint You do have to run a bit more ride height than normal (~6mm so the car is legal with the lexan sheet on) but alot of tracks are bumpy anyway, hehe.
