Why only 64? And does that go for any motor timing that may be added too?

Thanks

Thats how its designed. It does say on the paperwork you get with it. Motor timing is additional. Increase the slope and reduce the revs the timing is added at for a start. I ca'nt imagine you need any more on a 30 meter straight

Motor was coming off at 50 degrees with plenty of punch and good top end. Went with an FDR of 7.6. Might add a tad timing to the motor next time out.

Thanks again

Really happy to hear the results have been good. Well done.

The only options left to play with for top end speed is as noted previously 10,13,14 and 15. A play with these in small increments will help in setting for particular tracks and help in controlling temps. FDR will also help. Increasing motor timing depending on motors does not always help. The TP motor i used fell flat when i increased timing so i left it at 0 degree.

Cheers

Ren

That combination is the latest firmware for the LCD and ESC.

119 on the LCD, 211 for the ESC.

On another point, lower on the DDRS is working well for me at the moment. I've been playing a lot with this recently, both with 11.5 and 4.5's, keep going lower and getting smoother throttle and lower temps, and no slower... win win

Add 2 notches of timing on the d3 and temp it with RENs settings and watch it fly......

Funny enough, I have picked lots of different setups for HW with 10.5t, 11.5t, 13.5t motors and none are with the Hobbywing motors...

Anyone with a good 10.5t HW motor setup out there??

So I am starting to understand all the setups and different program options, but I came to a problem.

I bought my HW Xerun and program box second hand (Hobbywing 2 in 1 pro program box) but apparently with a Speed Passion version on V1.06_100617
Have choices:
V1.07 110119
V1.07 101224
V1.06 100512

Hardware version is: HW310 V1.0
but won't upgrade to any of these from V1.06_100617 (SP version?).

Computer usb link is: V1.63

Speedo version is:
Hardware version: HW427_V1.0
Software version: V3.0_110211stock
Choice options:
V3.0_110119 mod
V2.0_100528 mod
V1.10 090205 mod
V1_508 no timing
3 more stocks: 119,108,518
and V1.10 090323 a_m

When I connect program box to ESC only it will show SP version and when pressing any buttons it is looking for a software update and would not work, but it did work before when I installed the speedo in car last week.

I did upgrade to version 211 on ESC since from 119.

So here are my questions:
1) how can I remove the Speed Passion version altogether and replace with HW version, I was trying to get V 224 as I am using a LRP X12 and following some of the previous threads it seems to run cooler with this version, but no luck won't let me do it.

2) what upgrade is the pro box looking for?

Thanks for your replies.

Hi, i been running this ESC for 2 weeks on my xray T2 touring car, i got mixed feeling about this esc. :/ but im happy with performace.

sometimes turbo wouldnt kick in, sometimes it does, and it sometimes cut out. (no power to car, fan stopped)

and it has been pushing my lipo battery to 2.8v cut off point where it should stopped at 3.2v

It has latest firmware on it 110211.

If the esc isnt turboing, is that due to low battery voltage or what?
