yes billy and i did that when he ran for durango.. flip the rack, have to dremel down the nuts that hold the rack ball studs slightly, and also the arms to prevent rub...

The complication comes in that the car can operate anywhere between 15 and 35 degrees of caster. Using the same caster blocks, spindles, and bellcranks/rack plate to achieve all of those settings means we have to adjust with shims- or flip the rack. We've never broken a steering arm off the spindle, even running as many shims as 6mm on the outboard side. How many do you think would sell if a company offered a bellcrank set that only optimized 30-35°? And then because it's only for that setting, the market gets smaller and price goes up because of that.

Sup peeps, after a little break I'm looking to get back into some 1/10th scale racing. First up will be stock buggy and I'm seriously looking into a 210. Now I come from an RB5 and was happy with the performance/quality that kyosho brings but the price and parts supply has me exploring other options and I'm wondering what the general consensus is on this buggy because I don't want to have to buy this buggy and another $100 worth of option parts for it to perform or I'll just get a RB6? I've read some of this thread and see that ball cups seem to be an issue but can be overcome with some certain assembly techniques, are there any other glaring issues with this buggy besides the ball cups? Could anyone link me to a decent starting setup or is box stock a good starting point, I run on a large indoor medium to high traction track. Also anything specific this buggy requires to be ran in stock class, thought I saw something about a different gear cover? Thanks

Just had to share this picture. I run on an indoor carpet track the layout tonight was insane with big jumps followed by 90 and 180 degree turns. I knew 9 buggies together on the track would cause chaos. I was really impressed with what the buggy with holding up to on the track it was rough out there. And then running full throttle down the front stretch over a huge double another buggy crossed my path in the air. We collided and all sorts of tumbling ensued. Pic looks like cars broke in half really just the rear shock tower broke causing the driveshaft a pop out and the Velcro holding body nose on came off. Tonight for sure was a great test of durability. Any buggy would have broke and probably broke more after that tumble. So I am pleased with this buggy and need carbon rear tower. Just wish they weren't like 40 bucks geez.

Fyi. I converted to the tc6 ball studs and jconcepts cups, but had trouble keeping the camber set. Someone said use the losi cups part losa6016.
They don't work. Too tight.
