Hey all,

Has anyone used these belts on the BD, Team Bomber Low Friction Belt (Rear) TB-20023?

Are these belts good or should I stay away?

Absolutely garbage, like they are made of cotton fluff and stuck on with a gluestick.

Default BD7RS Shock

Hey guys,

I've got hold of a BD7RS to use as a wet car and have to say all is good so far apart from the shocks, to be exact the collar adjusters. As they are plastic on plastic they are binding badly to the point where I can't move them without pliers.

So far I've tried putting some shock oil and grease on the threads though it hasn't really helped. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this/ got any suggestions on how to help out.

Cheers
Dan

Hey Guys,
Having some serious issues finding rear grip with my BD7 '13. We're running control tyres, Muchmore Rush 36s, so going to a softer rear isn't possible. High speed cornering is okay (not brilliant) but accelerating out of corners is resulting in some severe back end slides, even using very little power. Off power slides are also common.

My current setup is:
Xray 350 shock oil, 50% rebound
Yokomo pink springs on front (have the full set of HPI springs on order)
Yokomo blue springs on rear
ride height - 5mm all round (also tried running 7mm front and 5mm rear made no difference)
2 degres rear camber
1 degree front camber
1000 wt diff oil rear
front spool
0 degree toe front
kit standard rear toe
2-3mm droop

It's pretty much the standard asphalt setup that's reccomended with the kit with a few minor tweaks. Any help would be much appreciated, I really dont know where to go form here?

Cheers
Simon

when you say 2-3mm drop, what do you mean? is that 2mm over ride height. i would start by adding more front drop to allow more weight to transfer to the rear on power

Shock oil sounds a bit light, the car seems to like heavier oil (the worlds setup sheet says 600cst without tyre additive!)
I wouldn't expect the kit springs to work in low grip so it's good that you're getting the HPI set, most run silver/silver, pink/silver worked well for me last year.
You don't say which shell you're using, I couldn't get the ltc-r to work at all, went much better with Speed6. I know most people run the ltc-r outdoors, maybe I got a bad one, but I had no forwards traction with it at all.

Thanks guys, I'm hoping the HPI springs will help. I'm using a Proto P-37R regular weight body.
