Unfortunitly, it was my car run out of gas. Thnakfully we knew there was another racer coming up to RCO about 1/2 hour behind us. Had he stop and get gas for us.

Thanks Jon. I enjoyed racing with ya and those first couple laps were pretty intense. I had Herald coming up behind me, and that would have been a good battle. Not sure abnout the East Coast thing, but my cars have always seem to work pretty good at Jackson. I kinda wish I was a little closer as I would be there more often. I have to thank you and Tag and Freddie. Between batteries, motors and team support you guys really know how to treat the team and help them do well. Congrats to all the guys up there everyone ran well. Good luck to Larry today in his race. See everyone this week at the "C".

TK and I had a GREAT weekend in Dallas for round 3 of the US Central Racing Leauge. They planned on building the track on Thursday for Friday practice, but broke 3, yes I said THREE Bobcats in the process of building so the track got done at about 7:00 on Saturday morning. We got a few hours of practice in which TK managed to explode his buggy tranny. We were running step pins and the like.....VERY loamy.
TK qual'd 2nd in stock truck and won the main with a time on par with the mod truck AE factory drivers present. He bumped from the B in mod truck and finished 4th overall. Didn't run buggy due to the broken tranny.
As for myself, I qual'd 8th in truck and ended up 5th. I qual'd poorly in buggy, I lost my right contact lense in BOTH of my qualifiers...a fan on the stand blew it out both times . However, I managed a 6th place finish.
All of this was on a track built in about 5 hours with the majority of the track being big-air jumps. They didnt have time to shape them properly, with most of the jumps pitching your nose either straight up or straight down...regardless, it was a great weekend of fun!

As Nick said...My Ex. Stock Truck time was up there...To make it even better, I put the move on the Surge driver who TQ'd (due to being up front in qualifying and outa traffic) on the first lap, and put a 16 sec. lead on him by the end of the race...
In Modified Truck I bumped from the B, and started 10th in the A. With 2 minutes remaining I had made it to 3rd! Piped it late, and managed 5th... Great weekend...
Tyler Keel - Stock Truck A-Main 1st Place

Kyle Skidmore - Mod Truck A-Main 2nd Place

Did you guys see the layout at the Coliseum for this weekend? That is MINT! It's fairly simple and FAST!!! Cannot wait for 19T now.
I was thinking it was gonna be 180s every turn, which on asphalt is not my favorite layout. To me, save that for carpet.
Now I'm actually looking forward to some action on Saturday.

Well were back in from our 8th scale race (Jeff and I). Was a great time. I am finally starting to get a feeling for these machines. There was more cars than at the previous series event and I finished alot better. I tq'd the B and was 2 tenths off the A. Which I am happy with since its only my 3rd race with the car. Jeff Beaule was able to start 4th in 5th in the B but wasent able to really put in a qualifier. Jeffs race ended early with a broken part in the rear end of his S3. I had some bad luck getting cought up in traffic and flammed out 2x because the weather changed alot (from cold rain to warm sun) so the bottom end got pretty rich which caused me to flame out when I went on my lid. I still managed to finish 5th after it all... bit of a bummer but I ran well and had a great time. Pretty happy considering these races had multiple sponsored drivers from team xray and thunder tiger.
Almost time to start busting out the on-road
Hey Jon, there will be a order in shortly for a bunch of 4 cell packs.
