Keep Minis simple? hmmm..

do u guys use dog bones or unis?
gear diff, manta or TA03 diffs?
bush bearings or steel all around?
friction or oil dampers?
aluminum or plastic uprights?
etc...

just look at the new m03r and compare it to the older m03 and its not so simple anymore.

Its like evolution.. it's gonna happen anyways.

I've got two cars with all that...and if I was going to race a TCS event I'd probably break 'em out.

The ones I actually drive/have fun with? Dog bones, gear diff, bearings (cut maintenance, dirt cheap at $12/set shipped), friction dampers, plastic uprights, etc.

Any Chicago area Mini owners around here? Want to race your Mini on Sunday afternoons? I'm looking to dust ours off and add a class at our local track's Sunday parking lot race. We only need one more to make a class..but of course it would be great to have ten more.....

Yeah we talked about it a while back. Some people have ordered them, a lot (like me) are waiting for the Pro version which is only a few weeks away. Mmmmm more pointless carbon...

just make sure to take a picture of the black chrome chassis before you run it...as it starts to flake off the instant it hits the track.

Default chrome black grey?

I found the black chassis included in the swift kits the best overall in terms of endurance and non-brittleness. If its the same black chassis underneath the "r" version chrome chassis then it should be ok to run aside from the flakes you leave in your competitors eyes!

Got some knock off Chevron Monster mini bodies for trade if anyones interested?
PM me.

Hi Tony

Can you save me from trawling through 146 pages for the MO3R Pro and tell me what spec the Pro will be.
