Does the ESC/Motor come with all the necessary bullets for all connections? I know I'll have to solder some stuff up but didn't know if I needed to order bullet connectors.
You'll need connectors for the battery, I personally direct solder the motor, if you don't want to you'll need connectors for that too.

The motors come with the SP connectors that fit the "bullets" on the SP motor endbell.
The motor also includes the sensor cable.
The ESC includes the cable to go to your receiver.
YOU WILL NEED THE CONNECTOR(S) TO GO FROM THE ESC TO THE BATTERY!

Fuzzion and slakr,

So I only need to purchase one set of 4.0 banana plug/bullets in order to complete all of the wiring?
Battery->ESC->Motor

That should be all you need, not sure if your motor will come with anything other than a sensor cable though, that's what my 8.5 combo came with. slakr mentioned that they motors come with connectors, but my ones didn't. Not an issue for me as I don't use connectors on the motor.

HMMMM... mine came with these http://www.speedpassion.net/us/produ...p=162820&c=OPT

But I purchased two Reventon Pro ESC's and two 8.5R Competition V3.0 motors and they had the connectors, but they were not the "combo" packages.

So were the complaints of a bad batch of manufacturing defects, software, etc.? Just curious to what went on.

Does anyone have a setup for the Reventon Pro that will give a brushed motor feel? I'm racing dirt oval and just looking for a little help setting my speedo. I've always ran LRP's and would like the same feel. Any help would be appreciated.

Today i received my cirtix stock ESC, but i saw that you can only adjust 3 settings in the ESC (ABS, drag brake and overheat protection).
Is this correct for blinky?
Or is it possible to upgrade the setting card/ESC for more settings such as lipo cut-off, start punch etc.

You must have an LED program card to make changes and if you have the club spec you can only make changes to those three. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a Reventon R that will be paired with a Tekin Redline 17.5 motor in my TC4. We run open timing so no limitations.

What would be a good starting profile to work with for a generally small track with one top speed back stretch. Concrete surface that is typically medium grip.
