my snots are not coming out redish anymore just green yellow and my lips are just finally getting some skin back on them. still licking them but that could be just from having that sonic burger.

just a few other things that might of had a effect on the traction.

1 AC drying out the carpet
2 carpet thread denseity
3 backing on the carpet thinner
4 glue used to put the track down coming through the backing
5 rumor was corally changed the forumla for jack the slipper.
6 the 2 stage one is a new one to me

SOB no pix of your flamer sorry didn't even know it had happen till the next day. I might of been in the room probably when I commented on the traction stinking and scotty told me that the traction was fine. and he said something about would rather have this then having his feet stick to the track as he walked over it. not an exact quote but something like that.

but with problems with exploding batteries and phalen I think it was falling off his chair I think he had bigger worries to think about. that man puts a LOT on the line when you hold an event like this. and for that I thank him.

I got a "This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender's friend request." send it to me and I'll look at the quailty because the only problem with that is the quality on youtube suks the big one. I hope that the version on my site is as good as I can get for the file size. youtube is fine for the people that can't get the real file but again it's a quality issue. I want the file big enough that you can tell the pink and blue blur behind the white blur is paul and the yellow blur is flack. I was half temped to up the rate depending on the bandwidth usage of my site. I did contact them last week and told them that my usage would be up for about a week. so we will see.

plus youtube is all about the advert. I don't sell space on my site because I think this should be free to the users to see what I had to pay $300 for a plane ticket $250 entree $300 on food. $50 in taxi $60 in internet fees. and wait 6 full sets of tires one arm and 10 sets of brushes. (got out cheap since I got my T2) and I'm not complaining I gladly pay this so I can race these events and so that I can take the pictures and video so people that can't come get to see what I see. because I remember the days of my friend going to the indoorchamps in cleveland and racing and not knowing where he finished or what it looked like. that's what RC50 is all about. and yes the hit counter is a cool thing to see racked up also.

Having to rent a ride from one of your buddies to dig you out of hell...priceless!!! Thank you Nick and Jim!!!
Glad to give you our spare car... you looked good for never driving it before the 4th round... oh... and running my setup
If you think having your car on fire was bad... how about Nick starting on fire when that cell exploded

Casinos actually have a few true "urban legends" :

- You ll never be able to see the outside light from most gaming rooms, in order for you to lose sense of time and not be attracted to the outside weather/sun
- You will never ever see a clock in a game room in Vegas
- The house always wins

Air conditionning is actually super powerful in terms of CFS, totally oversize for the game rooms they service. This is to ensure cigarette smoke dissipates super quick, that the heat generating lights do not overheat the room, and that you maintain a fresh dry gaming experience..

That s why you will always feel "energized" when in a casino, it s mostly because the AIR flows hard... not the "supposedly" extra oxygen (totally illegal also.. ))

Dehydration is common with all A/C systems (ie in airplanes also..) so there is nothing new here... it s just aggravated by the powerful system..

YouTube and Google both let you embed the video directly into your web page without any ads. And honestly, a few text ads are a small price to pay for free video hosting.

If you use Google Video, people can download the higher quality versions directly from Google, or stream the Flash version. Again, you can use an embed code to place the video directly into your web page. I did exactly that when a local TV station did a small report on our local track.

Peak distributed some high quality versions of their races videos last year, and it was a REAL treat. I keep those on my computer and watch them from time to time to try and learn/understand the lines fast people take around the track.

What about DivX?

During the winter here in the midwest, once the temperature has been below freezing for a week or so, the air gets really dry. I usually kick on a humidifier in my bedroom once it gets below 30%, otherwise I get nosebleeds, dry/itchy skin, etc. It seriously owns my friends/family that come to visit from the coasts.

I wonder if there's a venue in Vegas that can properly humidify its air while also keeping it cool and clean. Does any place do that? It might be something to consider for future events if it's ever offered as an option.

Regarding the dry air, nosebleeds, chapped lips, etc... I've been going to Vegas on a regular basis for over 20 years now, ever since I was about 6 years old, and it happens every time from about March through October, unless there is some sort of freak rain storm and/or humidity. My non-scientific opinion is that over time you body adjusts, but when you fly in from a more humid climate, it really puts the hurt on your skin.

Of course, I also think the blasting AC and everything else contributed as well. I am sure we can work something out with the hotel with that next year.

Scotty, Doug and the crew....
Thanks for a great time. I know how tough it is to run a race, not of this magnitude, so I know it must be even tougher! We had a great time, it was a great opportunity to meet with distributors, dealers and manufacturers that we have only met with over the phone. Looking forward to next year!
Go get some well deserved rest.

I can't believe all the whining I am reading.
Obviously those that are complaining about the hotel have never stayed at the Snowbird Dump...otherwise known as the Ramada...or whatever name the place is going by this week.
Ask Putnam about his wonderful room experience in FLA.

You guys need to lighten up...and besides...when the entries are limited..i bet it will be a "team guy" race...and us regular slappers will be stuck watching the webcast.
