Default Where To get a motor

I was just wondering where I could get on of your motors? And what is the best ESC to run with your motor? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. By the way I am on the East Coast. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware area.

PM Matt he will get you setup with a motor a the long list of shops selling his motors. The best ESC to run is the Tekin RS you will find tons of support here with that speedo running a Murfdogg motor!! They are so dialed!!

This past weekend I ran my 17.5 Murf Dogg in the SC10. The track was Bumps & Jumps in Etter, Pa. It's an indoor offroad clay track with Med to High bite traction. Gearing was 81/28 with 0 deg motor timing and 45 deg in the speedo. I barely had enough juice (5000mah pack) to finish the 10 minute A main and the motor came off the track at 123 deg. I guess my questions are, is my gearing ok with the motor temp? and if so, should I adjust the gearing and how much?

Ran my Murfdogg powered Pheonix 12th scale at Jims R/C yesterday. My motor came of the track at 148 degrees. This was after 8 minutes of fast racing. I was able to take TQ by 2 tenths in the 3rd qualifier and won the main. We had a good group of 6 guys there and are suppose to have alot more this coming sunday. I'm also running a Tekin RS with 56 degrees of total timing. All timing is in speedo.

Sound's OK to me... especially at 123F. You may want tocheck that pack out. We usually drain about 1800mah in 5 minutes o boosted 17.5. It is rare to draw over 4000 in 10 minutes. How old is the pack?

Sounds like you may need a fresh pack... and I know someone who offers a killer 5500mah pack..

Matt

Had another great day of racing. Murfdogg power was awsome today. I qualified 2nd in 12th 13.5 class out of 9 racers. In the main I took the lead at the 4 minute mark and then blew my axle bearing. I guess that was my cars way of telling me I need to get some of those MurfDogg balls for my car .

Hoping somebody can answer a few questions.
Can the 13.5 be ran on lipo 2's? I went to one of the websites (don't remember which one) and it said it recommended lipo 1's.
Earlier in the thread there was a mention of problems with high torque servo's draining to much battery and causing engine problems. I have a savox 1257, spectrum dx3s but do run one of the external power capacitors things. Is this all that is required?
Lastly I'd like to know if anybody is running a murfdogg motor with a mamba max pro esc. I already have one so its most likely what I'll use unless somebody says "no stop, that is terrible." Thanks for the help
Darren
