no real downside so far.
Brad, are you using the 8.5 with the stock 19mm bell cranks or the 22mm?

I started with the standard links, with 1mm Ackerman. Car felt great. Went to 2 mm and flat a little more agile. I not to 22mm links with zero spacing, need to play more but didn't feel as good.

Sweet! Can't wait to read the article. Hoping to purchase an R10 in the next week or so to try a different platform this season.

Why? ARC sells low friction belts and pullies.

The rear one does fit Xray for sure (a number of friends have been running ARC belts on their Xrays)

Not sure about the front

Thank you!

Had a couple of wins yesterday! First was TQ and 1st place in our Sportsman Mod Class! First time running mod and now Im hooked! Second was a almost first but got 2nd place in our VTA class! Both cars were 2013 ARC platforms. In mod I had comparable lap times to the guys in expert mod who have been doing it for years. I'm pretty happy with my results.

For those racing asphalt looking for a good setup for mod. Go to ARC facebook page and look for Hara's setup. I had a friend try it for 17.5 class and he didn't like it. So he went back to my 17.5 setup I had posted a few pages back on here and car was dialed.
