Lots!! Run the car twice so far.. First time out not so good as issues with electrics and a servo fail but second time out was much better!

Was running on high grip Astro in 3 gear laydown layout and was constantly trying to loose grip! The car has loads of drive, to help rotation I ran the gear diff and the only weight I had in it was the front brass hinge pin holder. The only other options were the ally rear hangers. Spent about 4 hours and have a good dry high grip set up

You won't be disappointed!

Thx! What springs? On paper Kyosho pink front is very soft and coupled with a gold rear seems different than what a lot of other manufacturers do with their spring setups out of the box.

What are good spring combos? For laydown

gold front and rear, the laydown configuration still has tons of rear grip...

Guys, I'm running 20.3mm shock length front shocks and stripped the piston shaft out of the eyelet (Long) twice this Friday. This happened to another guy also. Any ideas other than running a shorter shock length ?

What tower are you running?
It's my understanding that the Tebo tower is longer and takes away droop. The stock tower allows the same droop with more shaft in the eyelet. Kiddo and I run 20mm and rarely break one even as rough on equipment as we are.
Are you tapping the eyelet? I wouldn't do that either.

Running Tebo's HRS setup (mostly) with stock tower. Not taping eyelet.

Tebo is running Tebo towers so with stock towers you have more droop than he did.
Tire diameter also effects droop. What was his tire diameter? Do you measure droop and adjust shock length when you change tires?
Wish I could be more help. I'm not sure I'm good enough to feel .3mm of shock length, which is approximately the thickness of 4 human hairs or .012 of an inch. It's not much.
One old racing adage comes to mind.
To finish first, you must first finish.
Run that eyelet on there so it won't come off and find another adjustment to make it do what you want.

Or, do we need a longer front shock shaft? It's not super hard to make a front shaft from a rear. There are plenty of manufacturers that run the same diameter shaft if we could find one slightly longer.
