what are you running now? outdoor asphault?

if the track is a lot smaller just go down 3-4 teeth on the pinion to start with. if you give the dimensions of your track and if you're running rubber or foam tires some of the people on this thread might be able to give more specific feedback.

some people say that an indoor carpet setup and an outdoor asphault setup can be somewhat close.

this is all on rubber tires.....if you run foams with an entirely different setup.

Default dogbone

I remember reading somewhere on this thread that you can replace Pro4's dogbone with the stronger one from TC3 or something? but i can't find that post again even using the search function.

so is it true? and what's the part# for the TC3 dogbone ?

btw, i've already broke two dogbones in 3 months time, i'm just racing it with a silver can motor. no big crash or anything, both of the dogbones broke at the "round" bit near the wheel side if you know what i mean. it appears to me that area got worn out and become very thin by the time it was broken... is it usual? what can i do to prevent it?

Yellow15,

The MIP TC3 bones are crap. Try the new upgraded AE TC3 thick blue bones. They are stronger & lighter than the steel MIP's.

Cheers.

IRS big dawg bones for the TC3 work really good. They are bigger in diameter so they're much more resistant to bending. They also have pin cushins and 2 sets of coupler pin holes when your first set wears out.
