Bobby shipped it from the hobby shop, he will track it down tomorrow. He is home now but he is working tomorrow. I think it was UPS/Ground, left here Monday, maybe Tuesday if they missed the daily pick-up. He thinks it should have been there yesterday.

Hi Eric,
Just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with my first meeting on the 38's today. It's soooo nice to have loads of power from beginning to end of a race (been lacking for so long).
Was my first time for a while running 19t indoors, but I got my car handling pretty good... motors and specifically batts were no longer the problems (backmarkers now ).
Charged them as you suggested (6A, 25mv delata peak), and ran the C2 with F-lines (full face) red/red. Still was taking almost 1000mah out after a run!
Super impressed with the F-lines now too. Used one set all day, seven runs in total, and you can still just about see the remnents of the serrations on them... only one skim required all day too They are back to there good old self, I am now converted again... F's all the way now (27t and 19t)

When I can afford too, I'll grab a couple more packs of 38's off colin too... really helped get my enthusiam back for racing now, on bit of a downer recently, given how frustrating it had become.

Only problem is, I don't have an equipment I can blame my poor result on now

Big Thanks
Ed

ooo, one thing I forgot to ask is discharging of the IB's.
I'm using a Pulsar Comp2 at the moment, and the discharge current can only use 10A max. Is this enough, or should I look into grabbing a higher amp job? (after discharging to 5.4v, I put on my Robitronic equaliser).

Cheers
Ed

Yep you should definitely get something that takes your packs down in the 30amp range. TRAIN 'dem race packs

Discharging them at 30 amps is better for them in my opinion. I would look at the Integy Reactor discharger. It has a 5.4 volt cuttoff and it sells for around 30.00USD. I would NOT put them on a tray after you discharge to 5.4 though. Only tray them right before you charge them just untill the lights go out then straight to the charger.

The new Tekin discharge tray is great!! Been getting 45-4600mah into a packs that are from September.

The Tekin takes it down to .5 correct? IB's are OK past the .9 range if you are going to race them right after using on the tray?

Thanks

Jeff
