Dude building it said to go with a Castle 2650kv. I thought 2650 would be too much for it?

Does it apply to the front or to the rear part of the car, or the car in general?

Another question I was wondering about: Letīs say you just built your kit with the exact same setup as in the manual. You go out on the track for the first time and you find, that the set-up of your car is not the way you like it. What do you change first? What has the biggest effect? Iīd probably go with ride height, or springs, camber, droop... too many options.

The cost drop of the 3.0 kit was impossible to pass up! Time to read the other 200+ pages.

I ordered a 46T pinion gear (LOSA3551) but once it was installed it was flush against the chassis and the housing, way too big! I'll see how the stock gear holds up through testing. I hope to find the part number in this thread somewhere for a metal 45T or 46T that fits.

Thanks for all the helpful info!

The higher KV,the higher top end it will have and lower torque motor it will be.
*1900KV = Pinion gears 15T or 16T
* 2100KV = Pinion gears 13T or 14T on safe starting points

So, no... the higher kv the less power. Because it have less torque. If that's what u mean about more power.

Ok, so higher KV = less torque, more top end.
Lower KV = more torque, less top end.

Now Ima go out on a limb here, so bear with me. I'm not a racer. Am I really gonna notice a difference between 2200 and 2650?

The dude that's building it (yeah I'm that lazy ) suggested to go with Castle MM2 2650 over a Tekin 2 2200 setup as the CC is waterproof and Ima be bashin, not racing.

Not driving through lakes either, just maybe out in the light rain, as all it does in Massachusetts is f*****g rain every other day. It's worse than Seattle.
