I dont see how the diff could come loose if you are properly locking the adjustment with the locking set screw. This setscrew is in the center of the outdrive opposite from the diff adjustment screw.

On Page 27 of the Mi2 instruction manual step 10 covers this.

Just try to play with droop and keep at least 1mm different between front and rear.
Thanks for the advice. Another thing I noticed about your setup is that you didn't use roll-bars, how come? The grip level wasn't that high or..?

I find the car quite slow changing direction without roll-bars.

Hi Guys
Just got my MI2 EC and was wondering before I get on with the build this evening is there anything I should be aware of, hints, tips for construction? Instructions look as clear as ever so not anticipating any problems. Gonna use the pw rubber carpet setup in the manual to begin unless others have any better suggestions? Thanks for any help in advance

The "snap on" spacers for the wishbones were a bit too wide causing the wishbones to go heavy, so just make sure those spacers are plain on the sides. Make sure to tighten the screws in the driveshafts.

Other than that it was very pleasant to build the car!

*FACTORY BUILDING TIP*

When once you open the box and check that all parts bags are there you must have some sort of relaxing CD with the sound of ocean waves and/or harps playing. this ensures a perfectly built car everytime.

Maybe he was just setting the mood?

I hope he at least bought you dinner before you both went back to his place.
