I'm going to put doughnuts on my rims for tires and see if I can go 200 ft.

What doughnut do you think will make the best tire? I'm betting 2-3 day old Dunkin glazed or chocolate frosted should work.

Buggy Worlds is the LONGEST race of 60 mins. I never heard of mileage when it came to racing. In all honestly you may want to save and get a HPI Baja, at lease if runs on gas. But the cars you are picking from and NOT good. Dont care what anyone tells you.

This is awesome: from the link: So how do you make an MadFire better? Extra speed, extra adjustability, extra toughness.

In terms of???

200-300 miles of straight racing will cost you hundreds of dollars in Nitro fuel, not to mention the fact that with that engine you need to re-fill the tank every 5 minutes..hugest waste of time and money ever unless the winner gets $5000. I would bet my house that not one buggy or engine will even come close to finishing

I just did some quick calculations and you are looking at about 30 gallons of fuel if you can average 30 MPH for the whole time..thats 3-5 engines right there, and $900-$1200 in fuel who created this event?

Well there is no record currently so I will just try and go for it and see how much I can get. I think I can beat an hour with my buggy, and an engine is only around 50 dollars so I can buy 3 but how hard is it to reinstall an engine in an R/C Car and when will the other parts fail (ie. Transmission, Drive Shaft, Servos). Also I am working on designs to make a bigger fuel tank 300 CC and I am going to connect it to the main tank and use a fish pump to keep the pressure, I think I can also average 50 MPH.

After the first .28 engine pops he can go to a smaller displacement engine and save some fuel then there's tires, glow plugs, clutches, bearings..and drivetrain parts that will inevitably fail.. the cost would be tremendous.. even with using the $2 buggy that they plan on using

you are not averaging 50MPH with any engine. Sorry bud but at that speed your engine will overheat and fail in about 4 minutes. I'm not trying to put you down but you should find a different record to break.

I think 7-11 doughnuts might be a better choice since there is no doubt they are a harder compound. lmfao!!

try and beat 10 hours.

maybe a better record would be to see how many pencils you can fit in your nose.

Are you saying it's impossible?

Nothing is.

I never said impossible..I said very expensive, 3-5 engine changes 30 gallons of fuel. numerous stops..you would be running the entire 300 miles in 6-15 minute intervals and in some cases your stops would be longer than your driving..since thats the case why dont we all just add up how many miles we have raced in the past? I would bet some people have raced more than 300 miles over their racing careers....

I wouldn't use krispy kreme donuts, they would be ultra soft compund and wouldn't last that long. I would however use a donut tire with a high wheat content. Cream filled would be my choice ONLY if it was hardened for than a week. One more thing, if you use sugared donuts, you might get more traction than with powered ones IMHO depending on racing conditions.

Actually. If you go for the Cream Filled doughnuts, you can use a bottle of Sprinkles™ Traction compound to make up for the harder compound but still maintain the traction of the soft Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

Being very realistic what parts will fail in 200 miles.
