I see the new suspension on the 1/8th scale vehicles and I wonder if our 5 series are about to become obsolete? Will this new tech translate to the B5m/T5m line?

The pillowball suspension, or whatever it's called. If it's such a great thing on the 1/8th vehicles, wouldn't it make sense to incorporate on the 1/10th line as well? I just don't want my 2 month old T5M to be old tech already.

Reedy/Orion/Lrp/hobbywing/Sanwa/Airtronics all are pretty awesome. My t5 and sc5 use all reedy electronics with airtronics transmitter, my buggy is all orion electronics other than the servo is K.O. propo.

ESC: X-Car 120a
Servo: TrackStar TS-920
Remote: Sanwa MT-S (or used MT-4, or equivalent Futaba)
Battery: SMC 4400 or nano-tech 4200
Charger: Imax B6AC (if you don't have anything, even a power supply)
This is a great-bang-for-your-buck list. I would really try to get a used Futaba or Airtronics/Sanwa radio system : the rest is cheap enough to buy new.

Are the actually truck springs a lot better than the stock springs?
#2936
Yes and no... They aren't going to make a bad setup good. For most typical indoor decent grip tracks, yes they have a better feel. I've noticed in Lower grip situations they always feel over sprung in a way, even when using greens

courious what the kyosho golds would be equilvent too in the associated truck spring?

I really like Sensored, but latley I've been running sensorless systems cause thier cheaper.
I know people think Castle just makes bashing systems but no you can race with a castle system.
Thier the budget brushless in my opinion like Speed Passion and Turnigy is.

Squeeze the ballcups with the ball stud inside, but not hulk squeeze and they will free up
