alright well i have mainly a bone stock tc4 just with ti. outdrives.
um i want to know if you need to change the caster blocks up front for a mid size high grip track and has tight turns too. like i said im running it bone stock from the box . just want to know what are the things i need to get for that track i said.

I don't know what his roll center or caster was, but I tried the Copper/Red/Medium bar setup on my car that I ran in Brushless and when the track was cooler and grip was low I loved that setup. My car didn't have the initial turn in that I was looking for, and that setup gave me the turn in I needed. I ran that setup in the 3rd qualifier but grip had come up and the car now turned in too hard and was very loose. I ended up going back to the purple front with the thick front bar but went up to a purple in the back too and it was a good compromise. I still would have liked a little more turn in, but I have other things I am going to try. So far I am liking the TC4 on foams a lot.

Hi, i just bought a tc4 from ebay (new in box with a few hop-ups in their original packets ) i was wondering if there is anything special you need to do when you build kit (sanding, etc )

Get a pack of shims. Also the Graphite tub and "wings" are a big improvement as well

Hi guys,

I've recently aquired a TC4 (the man in the red suite was nice to me ), and I've been reading up on them. The only problem seems to be the outdrives (in respect to the plastic ones that is). As far as replacing them goes, does it make more sense to get the AE steel ones, or the IRS ali ones??

Crash, I ran my TC4 this weekend with a Novak Brushless on super high bite carpet with foams this weekend....no noticable wear or notching when everything was said and done. I did use a little Tamiya Anti-Wear Grease on the drive pins though.

Crashmaster... according to setup sheets on rc10.com... AE drivers Baker and Levanen use IRS aluminum outdrives.

I *assume* those guys pretty much have their pick of all available equipment... and if they like the IRS product then I *assume* it's a pretty good choice.

I've heard that the AE lightened steel outdrives aren't all that light.

The stock plastic ones. The only mods I have made to my car from stock are:
Losi 6 Deg front C-Hubs and steering blocks
Losi 0 Deg rear hub carriers
X 2.0 rear toe block
Hard front Sway Bar
Purple Springs
Graphite Component Kit.

Other than that the car is stock.

Well, now I can add to that list....

Low Friction hinge pins, the dual fan kit, aluminum shock mounts, and some other odds and ends. Can't believe I am working on a foam car...I still hate the cost of foam, but it was very easy to drive fast.

I am pretty sure the entire team ran that spring set up, and yes it does seem odd, but hey, the car was the best it has been yet...

The best AE car there was Timmy's, although he didnt make the show, his car was dailed, and he was also the only AE drivers besides I think Bob running Parma tires...... (both cars were quite good)

Jack- that looks trick, but do you have the bottom milled out so the tape sits flush like baker lol. Also another cool thing i noticed on barry's snowbirds car (which was just a chassis and arms, lol) is that he had ZERO play, i think someone was saying he glued or somehow stuck plastic baggies or something and then cut them, but I would assume after one hit the slop would return... ???

Bob ran Purple/Copper. I talked to him a lot about setup stuff and he said he tried Barry and Mike's setup and didn't like it. I didn't see Timmaaaaaaay's car at all so I have no idea what he was running.
