I did allow a Cross F1 (with this front shock absorber design) to run in our races. But I wish this is not going to be a trend.

Maybe if they used a thin rod, with oil and spring inside the rod (like what Marcus used on his FGX). At least that would look nice.

Smile 2012 UF1 Summer Series Final

We had 2012 UF1 Summer Series final round at TQ RC RACING.

I was great to see 42 F1 cars at the track, it must be a new record...

Thanks.

F1RC Club - Korea GP
21 Oct 2012
JP Raceway

Just a quick video from our race today. Having fun.

By virtue of better dancing, B-main drivers are the winners.

This was the Summer Series finale and the same carpet track where the Winter UF1 series will be held.

It was a Roche chassis F104 that TQ'ed a 42 car field.

B main drivers should all have been awarded bump ups. The guy in the A main standing on the milk crate who did not move should have been dropped to the B for sure. Someone needs to remind him... racing toy cars for bowling trophies.

When it comes to the front end of the F103, how should the turnbuckle position be in relation to the suspension arms. Should the turnbuckles have a sloping angle or completely horizontal in relation to the front suspension arms.

Should the ball-studs be mounted underneath the front hub carrier or on top as per instructions.

Also, I noticed David Jun raised his servo by 2 mm from the stock position making the servo height 32 mm.

Any help would be great.

Thanx! I am baffled by how all of the new cars are pretty much the same. no innovation except for the FGX. The rest are all link cars. With that being said my new car is REALLY coming along. Yesterday in practice it was only a few tenths behind my FQ car (which won the UF1 event and fastest lap time!) I was actually going to race it but stripped the servo gears out of it. Will race it this thursday night and see how it performs in battle!

It would be interesting to see if the Grosjean cars crash out within the 1st lap (just like the 1:1 vesion). ;-)
