has any one tried the kit rubber set up for the MI3 on asphalt?

yes, but its more for open type tracks...for technical tracks it needs a little more to get more steering.

mi3 is a weapon got the car like 1 1/2 months ago raced it at an inter club meet last wkend and well it was awsome got within .2 of the fastest lap after only just coming back to electric i was running modified against some really experienced guys i placed seventh overall after a major incident in the 2nd final left the car with a permanant tweak got another kit today so all is kool......

ya but good thing the car response well to changes so gaining steering isn't hard at all.

I have run many races at the nats track since it is my home track, and I use the Paul Winn set-up. It works very well for me and i have an agressive driving style. If those of you that are coming to the nats have not seen the track layout yet Quinton has posted pics on the nats page. Let me just say this, Gear up and let it fly!!!!

Are you talking about PW's kissimee big track set up?

good to have a home town racer waiting for us. gonna need some tips on getting those much more tires hooked up.

flying into memphis at 6pm tomorrow, be at the track at 8am on wednesday. see you guys there.

Thanks to you that is what has been on my car waiting for Nats for the last 2 months! It been killing me waiting to see how it workd . . .I wish we had some asphalt racing nearby to test it on . . .

it has worked very well in our tracks even medium size tracks, car has tons of steering, the only change that i made to it was the stock top deck and 4mm shims in the rear camber links.

Yes it is the big track setup, and this track IS big. The new layout is sweet and will not take more than 1 pack to learn. After that it is all about how fast you can get around it in 5 min. I run real clean and try to be very smooth, but i have a feelling this track will be more of a wide open on the edge for 5 min track. It really flows good. Cant wait to see everyone, I will be there sometime thursday so save me a good spot under the tent.
