Was aware of the conversion kit awhile back when I was more into F1. Found it for sale on Ebay recently. The rolling shock kit I found on D-Drive. Here's the link for that

I'm sure this has been asked already but cant find referance to it.
Can the F60 body for the 104 fit on the F103 ?? I'll be using a mini lipo pack so the width shouldn't be an issue. Is the length a problem ?? And will the F60 wings mount to the F103 chassis??

It's not the battery, it's the battery holder that sticks out. you'de have to cut that to make it fit. Then you have the top deck that also sticks out. The only problem with cutting that is you'll be cutting off the area where the body posts sit.

the F104 has a slightly narrower track width and a longer wheel base, compared to the F103.

Thanks folks. Looks like I'll ditch that idea. The F60 looked like the best match to the new Lotus T127. I know they're not winning but I sure love that paint job !! Anyone know which body and wings might give me the look I'm after ??

I personally like the Chevron F1-08 body but if you use the F60 front and rear wings on that body it would look pretty close.

Here are the pics of my car:

I got more I can post so you can see from different angles. The current Lotus T127 is one of the best looking cars of the grid right now.

WOW !! Nice. Thanks for the help. Are you saying that the F60 front and rear wing will mount on the F103 chassis ? If so, I didn't know that. What color is that paint ? And where did you get the decals ? Really appreciate it.
(update)Took a look at D-Drive....are the wings the "H" and "J" parts for the F104 ?? And I see the decal set also . Let me know if those are the ones and which paint I need to get.

That looks really nice...where did you find the Chevron body? So far I have only been able to find decent ones at European shops...the asian ones I have tried didn't have one I liked. Would prefer to find it somewhere in the US.

I got the Chevron body from a racing buddy of mine. He ordered it from D drive some time ago and he had an extra one, so he sold it to me. The decals for the Lotus are also from the D-drive website. As far as color....it is a custom color. You must mix a couple of green colors (50/50) one is faspearl green, the other one I can't remember...I have to look again, then add to the mix some black in very very small amount. You must also back this paint with silver, otherwise you won't get the right reflected color. We tried other backing colors, but the silver was key to get the right tone to match the one they use on the real Lotus T127. The color changes under different lighting conditions like the real car.

I'll have to get back to you on the wings question.
