there is no new car that I am aware of, perhaps running changes such as the new diffs...the mission is a brilliant design. Nothing stands out as being flawed

Default Mission

I agree that the Mission is probabl;y the best car out there. Here, I race against, TC3's,XXX-S, Corally(X-Ray), Tamiya, Kuwada, and just about anything else that I forgot. No MATTER what track I go to, its always the same. Is that one of those Schumacher's????? How it run. ???
By the end of the race day they know. It runs circles around everything else. The only problem I have being in CT, is that there are no other Schuei's and setups are pretty much trial and error. You cant just go ask the fast guy @ the track.. But when you find the SWEET spot, watch out.
Not only are they the baddest car kit out there, but with all the cool stuff that Schumacher USA has, it is also the most wicked piece of eye candy at the track..
The Mission is definetly the way to go.
PS. Paul and Adrian are AWESOME.

Alex's Cleveland setup sheet

Also, I fixed a few things on the editable setup sheet. Please download and save the new one over the old one. (that includes you PW)- Newest Mission setup sheet

What does the "Losi steering blocks" mod involve and what is the benifit? (from Alex's Cleveland setup)

The kit comes with an 86 tooth spur...I notice on a lot of the setups the guys are running 92 tooth... the gearing is pretty tall with the 86 tooth spur and the 20 tooth internal gear which most prefer to run..if I remember you're running on a tight indoor track, and with the 86 spur and 20 tooth main gear you'd probably be looking at something like a 22 tooth pinion for a P2K2 stocker, or a final ratio around 7.1

Hope that helps....
Thanks again, MarkG.

I'm planning on starting out with the same overall gearing, that I'm using now. It'll probably be a starting point, since my Sport2 got a heavy transmission, compared to the Mission. By the way, I'm using P2K and spitfire for the moment.

And unfortunately, my current finansial situation, dont allow me to buy the Mission right now. Good part are, that dreams are sweet and it seems that my finansial situation are being better for a reasonably time.

Here's a potentially stupid question...

I've been using a Novak TC Speed control forever, and it still seems to be working fine...at least I don't know any difference. I'm wondering if upgrading to one of the new speedos, like the Keyence would make a noticeable difference? There are some cool new ones out there to choose from, just not sure if its worth the cash to switch. Anyone have any comparison info to share?

Thanks...

Fireblade, James Nguyen, or anyone else, anyone got a safe overall gear ratio for a 13X2 P-94? I haven't run the car in mod yet and have a pretty big 2 day race coming up this weekend.

For a 13double i would usually start with a 7.7 overall gear ratio. I haven't ran any p-94s but would imagine that they run somewhat like the Ti series.

Try with a 16 mabe. or a 14. Those p9-4s have a lot of torq mabe a 17 or 18 if the motor takes it. What pully you running too?

Jesse, it depends on how big the track is and whether you will be running foam or rubber tires. If you're running foam, then you have to use a rollout chart.

Why didn't you just call me and ask?

BTW, Alex's foam carpet setup is up a few posts...
