Is there a way to put the speedo (RS PRO) in blinky mode from the Pit tune options?

Yes.
Use MODE & INCR buttons to change TP to (1)
TP is the 5th light in the sequence.
The Original instruction manual explains this in detail, though the function of TP is not what it used to be, changing the settings using the buttons has not changed.
This is with vers 208-212

If I remember correctly from the Pro4 thread, Randy stated that the T8 and pro4 motors do not work well with much boost or turbo, and thats why the RX8 doesnt have those features. All it does is increase heat. I could be remembering incorrectly. Check the Pro4 thread. I know this was discussed though.

i followed someones suggestion on our own forums for starting timing settings but those are for their trinity motors, so looking for advice using Tekin motors if possible.
I don't think there are any setups on the tekin page for the tekin redline.
I use to run one and as I remember I had to run about 8 degrees mechanical timing to get punch in the infield. If you do this, you need to take 8 degrees out of the electronic timing.
I may pull my redline out of my offroad car and play with it Sunday. If I come up with something, I'll post it here.

Default RS

I thought I read somewhere that you can have two different profiles that you can switch between without using the hotwire. I run a 17.5 blinky class and a mod class. Is it possible to have 2 seperate profiles to switch between blinky and boosted using just the ESC buttons?

Nevermind. Just found it. skipped over page 44

RadioShack or your local equivalent. Nothing special about the switches that come with them.

kV means RPM per volt. If you are running 4S I suggest getting either the 2000kV or 2250kV.
