Hmmm.....Hey Mark..... We're taking off this weekend and next...... But I think the 13th of April starts the work weekend scheduled for 2 weeks.... I think the first race goes out on the 4th of May..... Depending on weather we might sneak in a unofficial day of shaking things down on the 27th of April..... I plan on being to both.... Hope to see you at the TCS race at Madness in a couple of weeks!

Hi Christian,

I picked up one of your TC6 belt tensioners last week. But it appears to protrude farther into the battery compartment than the stock battery stop. The interference is enough to prevent my battery from fitting (Gens Ace or EAM hardcases). Have you heard anything about this? I'll try to find time tonight to snap some pics and get more info., but I have it installed per the pics on your site:



BTW, I installed your TC6 fan mounts and they worked like a charm!

It is designed to push the battery away from the belt as they hit with the stock spacer.

Keep in mind that it was designed 2 years ago when batteries were smaller. You might need to sand the plastic brackets a bit to get proper width fitment.

Use the narrow axle ones for the 6.1 and the variations. The wide axle is intended to work best with the 6.

noooo i just ordered the wide axles, thought that was the correct ones for the 6.1 as it uses a bigger bearing than whats in the 6

So what would you use on a 6 with 6.1 c-hubs and steering knuckles, and 6 arms? I have the original DCJs but would like to upgrade them to V2s with the pins captured by rings.

Is it worth changing to the WC bearing caps? Considering swapping them in preparation for the lower shock towers conversion.

Just don't worry about it. You will be fine with either. I find I have to mix and match anyways. Seems like nothing is a direct fit....... always something different. Just keep spare parts and all is good. For instance..... last weekend I broke a 1.5mm pin in the original RSD DCJs and couldn't go back to my old CVD because my hexes wouldn't work. I couldn't find a pin to fit until I cut a body clip. Then the set screw was stripped.....hence the reason for the V2 set. I finally gave up and ran my other car the rest of the day.

Soooo... Monday morning I just ordered a set of the new V2 wides so I can use my bearings that I have plenty of ( takes the same one as my Losi 2.0 clutch and have a slew of them) Last night I go to install the new DCJs ans the stub axle is 1mm too short for some reason. I just took the old stubs and swapped them.....no big deal.

All this to say.... CT has a great product and is constantly changing to improve it. However it is impossible to plan for each.......just plan on adjusting something. It will work out.......lol

Narrow version for the 6.1 caster blocks so that no trimming is necessary. Arms don't matter. The Narrow will not work with 6 steering blocks.

The wides will work on both but require trimming.

I have been using the Zeppin alloy castor blocks with the wides and haven't noticed any rubbing at all. They do look a bit thinner than the plastic blocks, and they fit with the old 6 arms (which I have a big supply of, just can't seem to break them) without needing trimming.
Have just ordered some replacement bones and ESC terminals, so next time I place an order I will pick up the V2 narrow DCJs.
