earlier this week they posted they are closing the oakley shop, and earlier today they said they are removing the pro shop from the track.... and now all their fb posts have been removed????

Look at the bright side, the track won’t be muddy when you try your new ride I think you’re going to really like it here. It’s a top notch facility and they keep improving. If you haven’t been there before, they have 2 tire washing stations and 1 with simple green and pit monitors are coming soon, huge drivers stand. The new Steve King layout has a cross over like the Dirt Bowl did. I know with gas prices soon to be $4.50+ a gallon, Matt Hales and Go Fast will be my limit for driving. Do you think Adam will ever get back into it?

I don't know what is going on, I don't know if someone posted a pic of the track on his facebook page, but he took the whole thing down. Hopefully they get it together, missing this race weekend with a new layout doesn't make sense to me, but they have to do what is right for them.

It takes a racer to run a track and program correctly.....i heard this is not the case there.....crcrc and the factory are the only ones who have this vast knowledge.....just having deep pockets wont keep u around too long

It seems many in this Go Fast thread are referencing it. I am going to have to make the trip and check it out.

I am sure Tom and the crew have there reasons for not racing this weekend. There was some drama that got started on the facebook page, somebody was putting innapropriate posts up, they should have just been deleted, but it escalated, got personal and nasty. So they decided to shut it down. I have not raced there yet, the track is pretty damn nice, as with any new place, there will be teething problems, and Tom is a racer, he has been racing for a number of years. Columbus is farther than I want to go, and so is the Factory, I like Columbus, but am not driving all the way there every week, and the Factory looks awesome as well. I am sticking by Go Fast, and Rockfield Adventures, they both have there respective issues, but they are close and fun. If everyone keeps giving up on tracks at the first sign of trouble, then we might as well all quit racing! The new schedule is soon to be posted, and racing will resume. I personally don't know what is going on, but its just too darn close to my house to write it off yet!

x2, if I could afford a 120 mile round trip to The Factory every week, I'd be there...it's hard enough to get the time to go play with toy cars as it is, but GoFast has a top notch facility and the legendary Steve King...and it's less than half the drive. The only gripe on my end is that there's no racing on Sundays, but that shouldn't be a surprise.

Tom has a pretty good crew working for him. Only one shop locally has a better one
