Default diff...

maybe you are running on asphalt.. : ) j/k but that sounds super high for the blown out shitz we have around here..
ON stock lsd's I would try 80 wght gear oil front.. 5k middle.. and lightly grease the rear.. use 1/10 diff lube..

I was running 7 middle and if felt about 50/50 so 5k should give to the front a bit..

Just here to try to help and learn.. So Robert i mean no harm to you...

Right now I am running pretty much the same...80wt gear oil front...5000 diff oil mid..and my rear diff is packed full with the grease included in the kit.

?By lightly packing the rear will it speed up the rear wheels? Should I experiment with this?

My servo saver adjustment screw backed all the way down during my main this weekend. Should I use blue thread lock on this or is there another fix? I think I have seen a double screw setup before, but is it necessary?

Thank you

lightly packing the rear will increase rear traction so if it feels skaty or like it wants to come around Do it.. otherwise just leave it..
Personally am thinking of doing the crosspins on just the rear.. so I can run 2 or 3k back there...the lsd are too over-active with silicone for now.. though..
Just my two cents..

Default Servo Saver

Oh and I just put a little Blue loctite on it.. was having that prob.. too.. seems to have solved but double nutting would work as well.... You could also try to find a O ring that will fit inside the bell of the retaining nut .. that would work as well not sure of size probly around 10mm if you dont have calipers and want to know I can find out.. O ring probly being the cleanest option and would still allow easy adjustmen..

Default My setup is

I have about 12-13 tanks on my new matrix tr pro and so far I have found this set up to work the best. This is just a basic outline of my setup. The track I run on is.

Technical
kind of bumpy
dry most of the time
mid size track
loose

2-5-1 for the diffs and that is with the lsd diffs all around

shocks:
front- 40wt with #1 pistions
rear- 30wt with #2 pistions
rebound front- 0
rebound rear-0
springs front-green
springs rear-green
spacer front-none
spacer rear- 6mm

shock mounting

front shock tower- middle lower
front on arm- most inner hole
rear- shock tower- middle hole
rear- on arm- middle hole

clutch setup- 13 tooth bell
CEN blue aluminum shoes
1.1mm springs

Wing postion- top hole

front hub carrier- upper hole

rear arm postion on hub- Top outer hole

Toe in block- rear- toe in 3.2 and antisquat 2.7 (which is stock)

My set up is real similiar to Jason Ashtons set up on CEN's website for a loose track. I just changed mine up a little bit.

you can also use a dab of CA, thats a tip from Richard Saxton,

I'm running 80 wt, 20k, 5k with LSD diffs in my truck, 60wt f/ 40wt rear with #2 pistons in the shocks, blue springs, I'm pretty happy with how its working,

or you can wrap a tie strap around the bottom of the nut once you set it where you want it

HEy guys

I have question.

I finish my build on my Truggy. I cant seem to get my clutch bell and my center diff to mesh properly. It is almost like i need to move the motor back about 3 or so mm to align in the center. I am using the stock bell and clutch mounted on a Werks B7 28.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Make sure that your engine mounts aren't backwards. I am just now getting to installing my engine in my build. On page 10, section 06-01 in the manual it states, "*Carefully look at each mount and you will see that the distance from the edge to the hole is different on each side. Make sure the edge with the shorter distance to the hole is closest to the rear (pull start side) of the engine."

Just a suggestion.

Default Blue springs

Are the blue springs softer or tougher than the green springs.
