Gotcha, and I agree with you, going from rear to mid wouldn't be much fun.

Default Another ball cup/ ball stud question...

Hey guys, horrible day at the track yesterday. Never finished a full run...
Here is what happened. I caught a pipe and popped the drag link from the servo horn to the steering bell crank. OOOPS, My bad.
Well, it was never the same after that and kept popping about every other lap. Damn...

So, now what is the fix for it? Order the stock parts, or replace aftermarket?
Part numbers for aftermarket?

Once again, you guys rock with the wealth of knowledge.

Cheers. Jeff

I personally run Lunsford Punisher turnbuckles and ball cups and ball studs from the 22. I even run this setup on my vintage cars. No problems ever.

He's poping the link to the rack, no a camber link or toe link. You want the dimecx ball cups, that should solve everything.

If you use the stock ones, once you pop it, just replace it with a new one. Or like Junky said, get the new dimex

Default Cassis length?

Did someone see, that TD have got the options for different chassis lgth on the new V2 setup sheets?

There is the option for standard, for +8 and +24 length!?

Do you think that there will coming a +24 chassis, or do you think, that is a mistake?

Default cups

Are there any worries with cutting down a ball cup to fit the length needed in that drag link to the rack? Its a short tiny thing...

And what lenght ball studs. Losi has varying lenghts, from 6mm to 10mm I believe. I don't have access to my build manual. Does it list the sizes in there?

The ball studs and cups that Losi uses on the steering rack are smaller than all of the others. They are the same size as the old smaller pieces such as those used by Associated or the previous Losi pieces. These are unique to that location.
