Kit front spring is 3.18 which is a lot softer than kyo gold, which is farther away in range than the whole range from softest to stiffest in the LF set (which is very narrow). The non LF blue spring is 3.8 so TLR does offer a usable equivalent.

I too am baffled how folks are running Kyosho Golds (3.87) spring on their buggies?

Mayfield brought the Kyo golds around with the 2.0. I believe Travis Amezcua ran the XXX with a really stiff (blue?) front spring too and that was even an RM car.
The kit front spring seems counter intuitive, like we should be running stiffer front springs for a mid-motor car but it's working well for me, even running the inside hole on the arm so I'm not really looking to change. I do plan to try the middle arm-hold and lower oil weight this evening.

Yeah, I guess it could be better. But what difference does it make other than aesthetics? Everything is safe and secure in there, there's just too much is all.

I thought I read somewhere that Maifield's Setup was actually gold front springs and not white as listed...Does anyone have info on this?

So I have had the car for a few week now and I have one problem with it.I can seem to get the on power push out of it.its not to bad indoors but for some reason outdoors it pretty bad.I have tried different setups on still the same end result, pushes.yes I have changed slingshot oils, shim placements, moving battery.could it be the fact im running the thin shorty packs. Or should I just get that brass weight for the front.
