Now, in the video below I am using a TRION 17.5 (Japanese) with a 13.5 rotor.. crazy torque, but too much off throttle drag.. Now the speed control is using dynamic hybrid boost turbo (reventon pro 1.1)


The only problem is now my track has decided on doing away with motor timing and esc boost/turbo ect.

In summary we can only run blinky/fixed timing.
In my case I have been running at FDR 3.72 and I can comfortably hold the motor with my hand after race. So I am going to try 3.65 next.

Love the one in my XB4 wheeler.

At practice yesterday, running a 17.5 TX, my motor fan disconnected itself from the chassis and tore off. I must've run for a long time without one (I drove for about 8 mins). After the run I found out he motor was at 180f on the outside, and about 200 temped on the inside, but I noticed NO motor fade at all. I started te run on a fresh battery doing about 11.7s/11.8s consistently and I finished the run with an 11.8 before I pulled off. This motor is incredible.

Has anyone in the WCICS series tried to update the ORCA Q'Spark ESC's Firmware? after seeing that their is one available. Results did you get it to performe any better than the stock?

no, but i have heard they might allow them at the birds, which some other tracks will probably allow them if the birds do

Anyone know if the VXX or 3.3 software is roar legal yet. Or if we could run the VXX with 3.0 software.

3.3 will be legal soon for VX, VXX, and VX1
There is no 3.0 for the VXX.
3.3 is the initial release version for the VXX
