quick question.... anyone spend any time with the rwd car? i like the look of the 911 and BMW body on this chassis, and thinking of running it at the TCS in Memphis.

any ideas on tcs legal 26mm tire choices, and tips on setting itup for prepped asphalt?

Pathetic

I'm pathetic what just beacuse i didn't want to tear my car apart and put a diff that i didn't have in it when i only had 15 minutes to do it all

so what beacus of that i'm pathetic

i think the only pathetic thing was that we had to take the one ways out in the first place

Noooooo...

Pathetic in how we were "called" on our running of the One-Way's. And in the fact that it basically killed your night of racing.

I wasn't calling you pathetic.

Hey Guys,

Been runnning nitro cars for a while but never had an interest in electiic... that is until i met the MO3. (I have owned 1:1 for 20+ years so mini lovers can understand where I am comming from)

I recently bought a MO3, and as can be expected I am in the process of doing some upgrades.

Can you guys give me some feed back on the following ?

What's the best method to use to break in a new motor ?

Do I need to breakin the RS-540 sport tuned motor ?

Additionally i am thinking about further up grades to the motor and ESC. TCS legal is not an issue. What I need is a setup to take this car to the limit without constantly breaking the internals or encountering stablility problems. Would the Novak GTB/Velociti Racing Brushless System 4.5 be an overkill ? A friend who races electrics at our local track advises against going beyond a 7.5T or 9T brushless with this car. Whats your take on this ?.

What I have left to do are the rest of the electronics, the ball diff and would like to go for a hotter motor and ESC setup.

HotRod, its a lot of conversion the car is virtually reduced to a shell and would be nowhere near road legal. Unless you are a mini freak and really have a burning desire to do this, its not worth the effort.

If you are really looking for a neat conversion, Try the Toyota 4AG transverse turbocharged. For me I have stuck with the A+ series 1480cc normally aspirated.
What can I say, I'm an old school guy.
