The car is still fast, but it just seems the TA05 is enough faster to make the 04R feel old..... My setup almost never changed from blue fronts, yellow rears and yellow sways all around with B3's and felt dead on if not perfect everytime out.
I went from the TA03 to the TA04R, and it seemed like any setup I put in the 04 felt decent at worst, whereas the 03 you could drift out of control if your setup was off.
You run what you got man, and it is by no means a bad car. When I get the 415 sorted out, I may come back to the 04R and give it a run at GT3. And if I fail miserably with GT1..........I will wait for the new TA05R and go back to GT2. Maybe its not the 04 thats slow, just the driver

Hey, i just bought a TA04-TRF off eBay, (After owning a TA04-S with alot of mods though) and i have read good things in the topic. One thing though, it doesn't come with Aluminium Steering Arms? I thought that was unusual. I'll post again in here when i recieve the car.

Need to know what a good body for my 04R would be. I'm running GT3 at our local track and it has one long straight and alot of inside turns, with a couple of hair pins. Also I'm not running the SS, so hopefully I can get some ideas.

I have bad experience with HK shops. Sometimes they don;t put orig. tamiya parts.
BTW, thx for the info.
